I strive to tell compelling stories, while pushing the limits of design and technology, with every project that I touch. My experience as an art director has been developed over the past few years; in that time I have created and directed award winning print campaigns, websites, mobile and social apps. Over the course of my career I have worked relentlessly at honing my design skills, going outside of my comfort zone and putting my reputation on the line by doing things that challenge me.
In my time at DGWB I spearheaded a highly sought after project for Wienerschnitzel, by the end of the process I had created a concept, design, and shot all of the photography for the campaign on my own. That work went on to win multiple gold and silver Addys that year.
I’m a problem solver at heart, I love the challenge of creating something elegant and simple that solves a complicated problem. I’m never satisfied with good enough and I’m my own worst critic, constantly working to refine my skills and expand my knowledge base because I know there is always better solutions to any problem.
While design and art direction are at the core of my expertise, photography was my first creative outlet and I shoot whenever I get an opportunity. During my time as an Art Director at DGWB I took on the role of in-house photographer and worked with the management team to create a photography department to broaden the agencies list of available services. That skill set gave me the ability to seamlessly work with photographers while art directing numerous photo shoots for the agencies clients.
